Blossom suffers break-in pssst! was so sad to hear that poor Blossom's award celebrations were cut short by a burglary at her home after the ceremony. According to a source, thieves apparently got away with her television and a laptop, among other things. Etse, it seems our thieves are taking opportunism to a whole new level, as the source speculates that the thieves might have thought that Blossom's prize money was stashed in her home. Pssst! feels sorry for our favourite singer. Don't worry sister; at least the NAMAs prize money will come soon. Michelle celebrates wedding in Nam Namibia's darling, Michelle McLean, was in the country this week to celebrate her wedding to former football star Gary Bailey. Michelle is by far the most popular Miss Namibia of all time. The 1,82-metre-tall beauty queen went on to win the Miss Universe crown in 1992. Very few know that prior to her winning the Miss Universe crown; she also made it to the top 5 of the Miss World pageant in 1991. She's not only a successful businesswoman, but a respected MC too; she even hosted the 2009 Miss World pageant. Anyway, pssst! hears the Namibian celebrations took place at GocheGanas nature reserve just outside Windhoek. The two got married in South Africa earlier this year. pssst! is sure that her invitation must have got lost in the mail and Michelle didn't intentionally keep pssst! off the guest list, and thus wishes our favourite beauty queen and her husband, Gary, a life of joy and happiness. Miss Namibia is back pssst! saw an announcement this week that called for entries for the Miss Namibia pageant. And pssst! couldn't help but wonder what has happened to all the winners of the past. The only former Miss Namibia who has remained in the public eye and left a lasting legacy is Miss Namibia 1991, Michelle McLean. The last time we really heard anything about any previous winner was when Barbara Kahatjipara had a brief stint in a police cell. pssst! can't help but wonder what happened to Ndapewa Alfons, who was a top 10 finalist in the 2003 Miss Universe, as well as others like Mia de Klerk, Petrina Thomas, Anna Nashandi, Marichen Luiperd and Marelise Roberts. It's like these beauty queens just fade once their reigns are over. So it raises the question whether the event has any significance if winners fail to make a long-lasting impact. We live in hope that this year's pageant might be lucky and stumble upon another jewel like Michelle. Katy and Rihanna plan safari trip Katy Perry and Rihanna are planning a safari holiday in Africa now that the pair have made up following their fallout over Rihanna's reconciliation with Chris Brown last year. The Wide Awake hit maker and the Stay singer - who briefly fell out last October when Rihanna rekindled her romance with Chris Brown - have vacationed together several times in the past but are looking to do something more adventurous this time round, deciding on a getaway to the African wilderness. A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Kate and Rihanna have both done the Hawaii and Cabo-type trips to Mexico before, so this time they're thinking something a bit different, like a safari in Africa. ''They want to go somewhere where they can have amazing experiences but still get drunk.'' The pair last took a beak together when Rihanna, 24, whisked Katy, 28, off for a ''girlie'' break to Mexico last year following her divorce from comedian Russell Brand in December 2011 after a 14-month marriage. A source said at the time: ''Katy called Rihanna as soon as she heard Russell was filing for divorce. Katy was embarrassed about calling her parents as they'd been so against Russell in the first place, but Rihanna was a great support for her and she really helped to calm her down.'' Back in 2009 the friends jetted out to Barbados shortly after Chris, 23, was convicted of assaulting his girlfriend in February 2009, which he is still on probation for. Hott Goss Just the other day pssst! was driving around Katutura, minding her own business when she couldn't help but notice a familiar face passing by. A second look confirmed to pssst! that it was indeed Shikololo, who used to be a music star back in the day. Remember him? The one who used to sing the big hit Takamisa. pssst! felt a deep sense of sadness seeing him in such a drunken state, at midday on a Sunday nogals. pssst! wants to encourage artists like The Dogg and Gazza to please start helping those forgotten artists to get back on their feet, so they don't remain down and out like our brother Shikololo. We really need to help each other.
