Girl (13) raped

A 13-year-old girl was raped at Ondjengo village in the Ohangwena Region on Saturday, allegedly by a 25-year-old man.
According to the police, the man called the girl into the bushes, removed her clothes and raped her. The suspect has been arrested.
At Khorixas, a woman was beaten and kicked by her husband at a bar on Saturday night.
It is alleged that the 31-year-old man assaulted his wife on the street by hitting her in the face with his fists and kicking her in the ribs. She was admitted to Khorixas State Hospital.
At Farm Uitstel in the Rehoboth area, a 22-year-old man was stabbed in the chest by his uncle and died on his way to hospital. It is alleged that the uncle, who has not been arrested, stabbed Charl Renton during a fight on Saturday evening.
Meanwhile, an eight-year-old boy drowned at Omatale village in the Mangeti area on Saturday. Sakeus Natangwe Hamukwaya fell into a dam while fetching water.
On Friday, an unknown suspect slaughtered four sheep valued at N$8 000 at Farm Mersa in the Aranos area. Only the skins and heads were recovered.
At Otjitambi village, two suspects stole a cow and a calf from a kraal on Friday. The cattle are valued at N$10 500. No arrest has been made.
