Geingob's Liverpool whining gains global traction

Ardent Liverpool supporter President Hage Geingob's tweet on Sunday, after the English Premier League defending champions' sixth straight home defeat, has stirred a hornet's nest internationally.
Jurgen Klopp's limping champions have been elbowed out of the top four after a series of giveaway defeats, including the one-nil loss at Anfield on Sunday by relegation battlers Fulham.
“We the supporters of Liverpool @LFC have been walking alone for a while now. Sadly, we are becoming orphans because our team is dying,” Geingob, himself a former footballer in Namibia's lower leagues, tweeted.
“The President of Namibia has spoken,” replied ESPN UK on its Facebook page, with a screenshot of Geingob's tweet.
Satire page FootballJOE tweeted: “Look at how much Liverpool have upset the President of Namibia.”
By yesterday afternoon, Geingob's tweet had 2.5 million impressions.
