Namibia’s first privately owned scheduled passenger airline announced that it is rebranding from FlyWestair to FlyNamibia.
At an event held on Monday at the Eros Airport, chairman of Westair Aviation Group, Wolfgang Grellmann, said they have always aimed to set the standard for aviation in Namibia.
“As Namibia’s largest aviation organisation, we accept our responsibility to grow and develop aviation in Namibia. We also acknowledge and accept the responsibility to contribute toward the development of the Namibian economy. This is especially important in a post-Covid environment. Our contribution is to enable these connections for business, for families, for government and, most crucially, for the travel and tourism sector.”
Under its new brand, Westair has launched a Safari schedule. This will connect the best Namibia has to offer to major tourism destinations in southern Africa.
