Premiering on Sunday, 3 August, ‘Die Eintlike Vibe’ returned to One Africa TV for a second, exhilarating season that features new interviews and a N$20 000 giveaway for loyal viewers.
Consisting of 10 episodes, this season features Namibian hotshots Top Cheri, Karishma, Chris Wayne and Chubby Beatz as well as Blenge Mofire.
DJ Kboz, Manxebe and Dik Bones also make appearances, with Adora and Tulisan returning as the superstar hosts.
“The response we received after season one ranged from appreciation towards our use of local languages to the exposure gained by some of our guests who said more people recognised them on the streets after their appearance on the show,” said AB Amushila, the executive producer of the show.
“We believe we inspired creatives and film producers to get their content on TV. A local content revolution is on the way.”
Committed to local
Desert Films cinematographer Errol Geingob also joined the team this time around to make sure that this season has improved production quality, with the set getting a makeover.
One Africa TV content manager Taleni Shimhopileni said their commitment to supporting and broadcasting local remains unchanged, even in the current economic climate.
“At One Africa TV, we remain committed to supporting our local entertainment industry and using our broadcast platform to bring Namibia and our great talented artists and creatives to light. Given the wonderful feedback we had on season one, we are delighted to broadcast another season of ‘Die Eintlike Vibe’.
“We know our viewers will enjoy the games segment and short performances by the artists Namibians know and love.”
