Champions crowned at Desert Storm II
Desert Storm II was hosted by the Namibian Kickboxing Federation (NKF) on 28 and 29 September in Walvis Bay.
The championship served as a national qualifier and included title fights for sub-Saharan Africa.
Fourteen-year-old Delano Müller (atom weight), 26-year-old Lesley !Hoaëb (super lightweight) and 22-year-old Julian Müller (light heavyweight) were crowned sub-Saharan champions.
Knowledge Mamola and Paulo Nunes took the championship belts as the top-form fighters.
A total of 180 entries were received and the martial artists competed in Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga, fitness, kickboxing and Muay Thai.
Namibia, Angola, Brazil, Botswana, Germany, Swaziland, South Africa, Portugal, Zambia and Zimbabwe competed.
