Banyana Banyana coach Desiree Ellis, accompanied by the national selectors, will be at the Bohlokong Stadium in Bethlehem in the Free State on Sunday scouting for talent.

This is the fourth province to be visited by the selectors. Also, there will be newly-appointed provincial technical officer Martha Malaku.

The talent identification tour has already been to Gauteng, North West and Mpumalanga and the visits are part of a follow-up to last year's women's football national selections that were successfully carried out in all nine provinces.

The initiative is aimed at assisting all the women's national teams, which will all be active this year. Banyana Banyana will take part in the 2018 Cosafa Cup in September as well as the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations in November. Bantwana (the South African under-17 women's team) will participate in the 2018 Fifa U-17 Women's World Cup in Uruguay from November 13 to December 1. Basetsana (the South African u-20 women's team) will play in the Region 5 Games.
