Bank Windhoek appoints new branch managers
Bank executive Chris Mathee is proud of the new managers who have worked their way up from junior positions.
Bank Windhoek recently appointed Johanna Ashipala as its Oshakati branch's new branch manager. Ashipala takes over from Aloysius Garoeb, who was earlier promoted to regional manager for the far northern region.
She joined Bank Windhoek in 2006 as credit and sales manager at the ESME branch. Ashipala was subsequently promoted to credit manager in Windhoek and was transferred to Oshakati branch as credit manager.
She holds a B.Com degree and is studying towards her Masters of Business Administration degree.
Mark Kerkhof was appointed as the new branch manager for Karasburg. Kerkhof joined Bank Windhoek in 2006 and progressed through the ranks from the position of teller to eventually being appointed as credit manager at Outjo Branch. He has completed several advanced training courses.
André Hayward was appointed as the new branch manager for Omaruru. Hayward joined Bank Windhoek in 2009 as a credit officer at Grootfontein Branch and also served in the position of credit manager at Outjo and Otjiwarongo. With over 14 years of experience in the banking industry, he has completed several advanced banking industry courses.
“We are proud of each of our new branch managers. Their growth in Bank Windhoek shows that continued professional development pays off. I want to congratulate Johanna, Mark and André on their appointments and trust that they will continue to deliver excellent results,” said Chris Matthee, executive officer of retail banking services.
