After a whirlwind second season of #5minuteFinnese, DJ Dreas is taking a break from the popular Instagram show.
The season finale is slated for midnight tonight.
This comes as sad news for many, as the platform has become a home to hip-hop lovers all over the country during the lockdown period.
Hip-hop fanatics assemble at midnight on host DJ Dreas’ livestream on Instagram to witness rappers deliver their best freestyles.

Standout moments
In a conversation with tjil, DJ Dreas said: “The standout moment for me was when a guy came on to pray for the show. That was really nice and very much appreciated.”
DJ Dreas mentioned that the platform has thus far attracted Gweri Vintage and NA Caps as sponsors.
“We also had anonymous donors who gave a sum of N$2 000 to give away to our viewers.
“I urge brands and companies to come on board with sponsorships so we can make this an even bigger show,” he said.

Next season
Dreas said he is looking forward to having international acts on the show.
“We are receiving positive feedback from very important people up in the hierarchy of music and entertainment business,” the DJ said.
“I want to send sincere gratitude to all our viewers. You are the reason why #5minFinesse is what it is now,” he said.
