In the sphere of professional development, few people's experiences showcase the potential for growth and advancement quite like that of Jasmin Emad Eldin. From her humble beginnings as an intern to her current role as brand manager at Pupkewitz Motors, her career trajectory personifies the ethos of the business.

Eldin embarked on her career at Pupkewitz Motors in March 2021, stepping into the marketing department as an intern. It was here that she laid the foundation for her future success, completing her internship with distinction and graduating cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in communication. This initial phase served not only as an introduction to the industry, but also as a springboard for her academic achievements.

When her internship ended, she was appointed as a graduate trainee from July 2021 to October 2022. Over the course of 15 months, she rotated in various departments within the business, including marketing, human resources, vehicle finance and insurance, service centre, administration, finance, and parts. This rotational programme not only broadened her understanding of the organisation, but also equipped her with a diverse skill set, setting the stage for her future leadership roles.

Strategic thinking and creative execution

Throughout her career, Eldin was fortunate to be mentored by highly skilled individuals within Pupkewitz Motors. Their guidance and support played a pivotal role in shaping her, instilling in her the values of dedication, innovation and continuous learning.

Upon the successful completion of the graduate programme, she transitioned into the role of marketing coordinator in November 2022. During this time, she demonstrated an ability for strategic thinking and creative execution, contributing to the company’s marketing initiatives.

Craving more knowledge, she then pursued an honours degree in marketing from the Namibian University of Science and Technology (NUST) while working full-time. This commitment to personal and professional growth reflects the culture of continuous improvement fostered at Pupkewitz Motors.

Today, Eldin stands tall as a brand manager at Pupkewitz Motors, a testament to perseverance, dedication and the nurturing environment at the company. Her rise through the ranks underscores the multitude of opportunities for advancement within the company, where employees are encouraged to explore their potential and excel in their chosen fields.

Beyond this individual success story, Pupkewitz Motors remains committed to uplifting the community and reducing unemployment in Namibia. Through initiatives like its commercial advancement training scheme programme, mechanical trainee programme and sales trainee programme, the company not only invests in the development of its employees, but also empowers aspiring professionals to carve out their own paths to success.

Eldin’s career so far serves as a shining example of the opportunities for growth and supportive culture that define Pupkewitz Motors. As she continues to thrive in her role, her story inspires others to embrace the possibilities that await them.
