Accessibility to information is easier than it's ever been. Our ideas, attitudes and outlooks are influenced by entities thousands of miles away (be it the news, institutions or even TikTokers). With this exchange of information comes a changing world, and as a consequence, our lives look drastically different to the lives of the two generations before us. This contrast is almost unprecedented in history.

Steven de Beer

As a Zoomer, there’s a lot I can say about the uniqueness of our generation. With a flair for technology and a passion for social justice, we will redefine norms. I believe that our generation is the most ethnically diverse generation yet. Embracing diversity and activism, we raise our voices to back our beliefs. We navigate a world of fluid identities and entrepreneurial ventures, driven a desire for positive change.

Janke Delport

Generation Z, in my opinion, is definitely a beacon of change. A generation full of activists advocating for what they believe in, no matter the consequences. I think our generation is a safe one, allowing and accepting everyone to be unapologetically themselves.

Hendrik Oosthuizen

Growing up in a time with rapid tech advances, I would say we are naturally digitally savvy and adaptable. Today’s innovations and resources also help us to be creative in new ways, changing how we face issues and challenges.

Carla Venter

Generation Z is unique because we have been raised in a digital era, where technology and social media have a big impact on our daily lives. We are known for our technological proficiency and quick adaption skills.

Nolene Steyn

Generation Z was born into the mistakes and challenges of the previous generation. Our generation is special, because we are taught since birth to care for the environment around us and to adapt to the constantly changing world.
