The spring classes took place from 7 to 13 September in an effort to increase the general performance of the region as well as the Outjo Secondary School specifically.

The classes took place from 07:00 until 16:30 in the afternoon. These long days had many breaks in them to make sure that the learners were still concentrating on the important work. Each lesson was about an hour long, which is much longer than normal classes in everyday school.

The goal of these classes were to increase the academic performance of the learners. The classes were taught by teachers and National Institute of Educational Development members. These members oversaw the spring classes to make sure that everything was up to standard.

Learners, although tired after the many days of long hours, still found worth in these classes. Ndeshihafela Shimada praised this opportunity, "It was a great experience. I was ecstatic that they gave us this opportunity to create ambition." This sentiment was echoed by most other learners who were happy that the time was taken to improve the quality of the school and learn more in-depth about the subjects that they are passionate about.

The spring classes didn't last long at all, but it was a great opportunity for the school.
