The Suzuki Celerio is available from Auas Motors in Windhoek, and this compact runabout is perfect for the urban commuter or the first-time buyer eager to own a set of wheels of their own. Diana Master of My.Na Cars had the pleasure of being taken for a test drive by Auas Motors sales executive Wietz Meyer recently.

For a compact vehicle, the Celerio boasts excellent ground clearance of 170 mm and plenty of legroom and headroom inside.

The exterior features are accentuated by the 15-inch alloy rims on the GL version, while the GA version comes standard with steel rims and a plastic cover on each tyre.

You can choose from vibrant colours such as striking blue, pearl white, silver, black, and red for your new Celerio.

Delightful interior and exterior

At only 805 kg, the Celerio benefits from its light-weight design, specifically in terms of fuel economy, as this automobile can cover 23 km per litre of petrol. On a full 37-litre tank, you can travel up to 850 km in this little motor vehicle.

On the backseat, passengers will notice that in this third-generation Celerio, the electric window control buttons have been moved to the central aisle. There is plenty of room for fully grown occupants in the back.

From the driver’s seat, the steering wheel also offers buttons for communication and other controls, while the window controls have also been moved to the central console. At the push of a button, the front occupants can also disable the rear window controls. The radio comes complete with USB ports, and the air conditioning controls are also on the central console. Bluetooth and voice recognition are supported.

The Celerio also features auto stop-start for fuel economy when driving through mid-town traffic, which can be activated or deactivated at the touch of a button.

Under the hood, the Celerio features a one-litre, dual-injection, variable valve timing engine capable of generating 89 Nm of torque and up to 49 kW of power. Thanks to its light weight, the engine is more than capable of propelling your Celerio to your next adventure.

Special offer

At Auas Motors, each new Celerio comes with a two-year or 30 000 km service plan, a five-year or 200 000 km roadside assistance warrantee, and a six-year body collision warrantee. The entry-level Celerio GA normally costs about N$185 000, but with the current special, Auas offers the Celerio GL with manual transmission for the same price, while the automatic transmission version of the GL can be yours now for N$206 000, whereas it would normally cost N$221 000.
