Poulton lights up Et Cetera ahead of Paris Fashion Week debut
In a spectacular celebration of creativity and talent, renowned Namibian fashion designer Melissa Poulton curated 'Art In All Forms: A Night of Arts with House Of Poulton' on Thursday evening. Hosted at art cafe and studio Et Cetera, the event featured a variety of artistic expressions, from spoken word and live painting to musical performances and a captivating fashion show, creating a dynamic and immersive experience for all attendees.
Poulton - who is set to become the first Namibian designer to showcase her work at the prestigious Paris Fashion Week, starting on 23 September - orchestrated the evening as part of a fundraising initiative.
The highlight of the evening was the screening of a House of Poulton short fashion film, which featured the top 10 Miss Namibia finalists. The film, shot by Spectrum Media on Poulton's parents' farm near Brukkaros Mountain, narrated her decade-long journey in the fashion industry, chronicling her growth, challenges and triumphs.
