Phohls transforms into Namibia's premier mini department store

Pfols, formerly known as Phohls Men’s Outfitters, celebrated its grand opening on Thursday, 13 June, with much fanfare, marking a significant transformation from a specialty men’s store to Namibia’s first mini department store.

This grand reopening showcased not only a rebranding of the store’s name, but also a substantial expansion in its offerings, setting a new standard for retail in Windhoek.

Cobus Möller, a renowned Namibian haute couture fashion designer and the visionary behind this transformation, shared his excitement during the opening ceremony. "We have expanded our collection and now include not only men’s wear, but also women’s wear, both new and pre-owned high-end shoes, accessories, jewellery and even a bridal shop and atelier all located in these premises," he said.

The store’s new format offers an eclectic mix of fashion choices, featuring a wide selection of matric dance dresses and carrying many high-end brands from Europe, North America and Australia. "What differentiates us from others is that many of our items are one-of-a-kind and not available anywhere else in Namibia. They are sourced from all over the globe. Some of our high-end items are gently worn but in excellent condition. Rest assured that you will be the only one wearing such items that you bought here," Möller added.

Pfols aims to cater to a diverse clientele with competitive pricing and special discounts on pre-owned items, making high-end fashion accessible. The store’s unique concept of blending new and pre-owned luxury items ensures exclusivity and variety for fashion enthusiasts.
