Maass Capricorn’s new financial director

Johan Maass has been appointed as Capricorn Group’s Financial Director effective 22 November 2024Johan joined Capricorn on 1 April 2018 and has served as Group Chief Financial Officer since 1 July 2022. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Johan has a B.Com Hons degree in Chartered Accountancy from North West University. Over the past six years, he has accumulated a wealth of experience within the Group, serving as Group Financial Manager for four years and subsequently as Group Chief Financial Officer for two years.With 14 years of experience as a finance professional, Johan has developed robust expertise in financial management, strategic financial planning, risk management and financial reporting and analysis, contributing to the Group's positive growth.Johan will continue serving on the Group Exco and the Capricorn Group Executive Management Team. “I am honoured to step into the role of Group Financial Director. This opportunity allows me to further contribute to the Group’s financial health and strategic growth.
