Local business delegation hosted in Shanghai, China
Namibia’s ambassador to China, Elia Kaiyamo, this week welcomed a delegation from Namibia to the Trade and Investment Summit and called on the delegation to enhance trade with China.
Also forming part of the delegation was deputy mines minister Kornelia Shilunga, who said Namibia’s financial stability gave room for increased trade with China and for the promotion of Namibia as an investment destination.
Shilunga shared that for Namibian businesses to do business with China, there was a need for the businesses to share costs.
Shilunga also said for Namibian businesses to be successful with regards to trade with China, there was a need for them to work together.
“Open your eyes and see what else you can add to your business. Use this platform to understand China and its business opportunities,” Shilunga told the delegation currently in China.
