In a world where success is often seen as a destination, Johannes Tuna Kalumbu, the founder of JT Investments, believes that true success is found in the journey of construction. With a focus on delivering quality workmanship, JT Investments has steadily risen as a prominent construction company since its establishment in 2013. In an exclusive interview with My.Na property, Kalumbu shared insights into the company's journey and the key factors that have propelled their success.

Discussing the origins of the company's name, Kalumbu explained that 'JT' represents his own initials, Johannes and Tuna. What started as a company that supplied goods and offered construction services gradually shifted its focus towards the construction industry. Over the years, JT Investments has honed its expertise in new construction, alterations, renovations, and various civil works.

Kalumbu emphasised that JT Investments primarily undertakes small- to medium-sized construction projects.

“JT Investments undertakes a diverse array of projects, encompassing various structures such as conference halls, medium-sized houses, residential house renovations, and government buildings, catering to a wide range of construction needs."

Kalumbu, however, also expressed the company's willingness to take on larger-scale projects should the opportunity arise.

Focus on quality

Drawing from his experience in the construction industry, Kalumbu provided valuable advice to clients. He highlighted the importance of prioritising quality throughout the construction process, from the foundation to the finishing touches. Kalumbu cautioned against compromising on quality by opting for cheaper materials or inexperienced contractors, reminding clients that "cheap is also expensive" in the long run.

“In the long run, compromising on quality or opting for a contractor solely based on their affordability can have detrimental repercussions. It is crucial to understand that the true cost of a construction project goes beyond the immediate financial investment. By cutting corners or selecting inexperienced individuals, you risk encountering a myriad of issues that may arise down the line,” he explained.

Potential clients can contact JT Investments through the company's social media platforms on Facebook and Instagram. With these accessible communication channels, JT Investments aims to provide personalised attention and prompt responses to clients' enquiries.
