The Windhoek municipality has issued a notice to alert residents about possible water supply interruptions to Katutura central, the Northern Industrial area, Golgota, Grysblock and Soweto. This is believed to be due to damage to a water pipeline on Eneas Peter Nanyemba Street.

The municipality said the extent of the damage cannot be determined yet but assured the public that maintenance personnel are currently assessing the problem before starting repair work.
