Vessel carrying 9 people missing

The Newlands, a rock lobster vessel carrying nine crew members, is missing at sea.
This according to the works and transport ministry's directorate of maritime affairs, which - in a statement released yesterday - said it received information that the vessel left the port of Lüderitz on Sunday, 3 September, around 13:30.
"The last known position of this vessel is 26 48" 18°5, 15 05" 24°E, and the vessel has nine crew members on board. The ministry has already requested the Namport tug vessel and the ministry of fisheries and marine resources airplane to search for the vessel.
“All other relevant stakeholders have been notified,” it said.
