In a swift delivery of justice, long-distance taxi driver Paulus Shuundi (33) was sentenced to six months' imprisonment yesterday in the Swakopmund Magistrate’s Court.

The incident took place on the B2 road, 15 kilometres outside Swakopmund towards Arandis. Shuundi pleaded guilty when he appeared in court yesterday, and Magistrate Conchita Olivier immediately sentenced him to six months in jail.
