IPC councillors up in arms over vote of no confidence
Lawyers representing four IPC councillors at the City of Windhoek, in a letter to mayor Sade Gawanas this morning, have demanded that a special council meeting slated for tomorrow to possibly pass a vote of no confidence against the IPC-dominated management committee, be cancelled.
The four councillors, Ndeshihafela Larandja (photo), Jurgen Hecht, Otillie Uukule and Ben Araeb said the planned motion is unlawful and have threatened to file an urgent court application if Gawanas does not call it off. The motion was initiated by Ilse Keister of the Affirmative Repositioning movement.
