Hangula re-elected as Tsumeb mayor

Swapo local authority councillor Mathews Hangula has been re-elected as Tsumeb mayor on Friday.
Hangula, who has held the mayoral position since 2017, is deputised by the Popular Democratic Movement's Anmire Garises, who also retained the position.
Frans Kamati (Swapo) retained the chairmanship of the management committee. The other committee members are Hilde Pashe and Olga Gases, both Swapo councillors. Independent Patriots for Change (IPC) councillors Abraham Baseko and Absalom Uukule remain as ordinary council members.
