Grindrod empowers schools in the Erongo Region
Grindrod has demonstrated its ongoing commitment to enriching the lives of the communities in which it operates, by hosting handover ceremonies recently at two rural schools in the Erongo Region. The ceremonies took place at Da-Palm Senior Secondary School and at Okombahe Gaob Dr. Justus Garoeb High School.
Each school was presented with essential technology resources, including laptops, projectors, printers, boxes of paper and projector screens.
“These resources will significantly enhance the learning environment and open up new opportunities.
for both students and teachers," said Johny Smith, CEO of Grindrod’s Rail division.
"Grindrod is dedicated to supporting initiatives that empower education and contribute to a better learning experience for the next generation."
The donation will enhance the learning experience for students, providing access to modern tools and resources that will support their academic growth and development. Grindrod is actively involved in various community development initiatives, demonstrating a commitment to touching the lives of the people in the areas where it operates, Smith added.
