Fewer deaths, injuries this festive season

According to statistics released by the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund, 54 people died in road accidents during the just-ended festive season, compared to 98 during the same period in 2021/2022 and 79 in 2020/2021.

A total of 633 injuries were reported this season, compared to 746 last year and 818 the previous year.- STAFF REPORTER
