Van der Walt took home the NMH Newsroom Employee of the Year 2024 award at a celebration on Friday.
Over the past decade, NMH has undergone substantial and innovative changes, and as an employee of a multimedia organisation, journalists are now engaged in much more than just writing articles. In Van der Walt’s case, her award reflects her overall performance, including writing and producing her news stories in a variety of ways for sharing across every print, online and television channel at NMH.
