Position: GoalkeeperLloyd Junior Jaseuavi Kazapua first got a taste of premier league football back in 2011 when he joined the African Stars after an impressive display at the lower levels of Namibian football. Kazapua played for the ‘Reds’ from 2011 until 2013. The player then moved to Tigers FC, where he had a stint from 2013 to 2015. It was at this time that he first got his national team call-up following an impressive season with the Premier League club.
In 2015, the player made a choice to return to African Stars, where he spent another three years before joining Highlands Park in South Africa. His journey at Highlands Park was, however, short-lived, and the goalkeeper joined Maccabi FC from 2018 to 2019. He also did a stint with Baroka FC during the 2019–2020 season before moving to Cape Umoya United, a move that did not last that long. Kazapua then joined Chippa United, where he has often pulled off remarkable saves. He was one of Namibia’s heroes at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, creating incredible saves. Kazapua remains one of Collin Benjamin’s first choices and a senior figure in the national team competing at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
