NRU names 35-man touring squad
The Namibia Rugby Union (NRU) has announced its touring squad of 35 players to the World Rugby Nations Cup 2023 in South America.
Namibia will open their tour against Argentina A on Saturday, 29 July, in Montevideo. A week later, they will face the home nation Uruguay, before flying over to Santiago for another test against Chile (first-time Rugby World Cup 2023 qualifiers).
The players are:
Props: Herman Agenbag, Jason Benade, Aranos Coetzee, Desiderius Sethie, Haitembu Shikufa, Casper Viviers.
Hookers: Gihard Visagie, Torsten van Jaarsveld, Louis van der Westhuizen.
Locks: Tiaan de Klerk, Adriaan Ludick, Ruan Ludick, Mahepisa Tjeriko, Tjiuee Uanivi, PJ van Lill.
Loose forwards: Adriaan Booysen, Wian Conradie, Richard Hardwick, Max Katjijeko, Prince !Goaseb, Johan Retief, Johan Luttig.
Scrumhalves: Helarius 'TC' Kisting, Damian Stevens, Jacques Theron.
Fly-halves: Tiaan Swanepoel, André van der Berg.
Centres: Danco Burger, Johan Deysel, Le Roux Malan, Jay-Cee Nel.
Wings and full-backs: JC Greyling, Gerswin Mouton, Chad Plato and Divan Rossouw.
