Zim-born judge to be sworn in

Zimbabwean-born judge Moses Hungwe Chinhengo will be sworn in today as a judge of the Namibian High Court, according to the Office of the Judiciary.
He is a retired judge of the High Court of Zimbabwe and formerly of the High Court of Botswana, and currently serves as an acting justice of the Court of Appeal of Lesotho.
He previously served as an acting judge of the Supreme Court of Namibia from 1 February 2021 to 31 December 2021.
He was appointed to the High Court by President Hage Geingob in March this year, on recommendation of the Judicial Service Commission.
