An Oniipa town council employee appeared in the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court yesterday and was remanded in custody for allegedly stealing N$652 000.
Kapeni Simataa (28) appeared before magistrate Nelao Ya France and his case was postponed to 2 October for further investigation. He worked as a cashier at the town council and allegedly committed the crime between October 2022 and June 2023. The state was represented by Hendricks Tholiso.
