#NamSunNews New judges appointed
The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) announced today that President Nangolo Mbumba has appointed two judges to the High Court.
Judge Beatrix de Jager was appointed as judge and George Coleman as acting judge of the High Court.
De Jager has served as acting judge of the High Court since January and her appointment is effective as from 1 July. De Jager has been in the legal profession since 2004 and is a member of the Association of Advocates.
Coleman's appointment as acting judge is effective from 1 July to 9 December 2024.
"We congratulate the judges on their appointments and wish them well in the performance of their duties," a statement issued by the secretary of the JSC, Elias Shikongo, said.
