Matter of clarity

In our edition yesterday, the headline ‘Swapo leader in court for property fraud’ may have created an impression that Swapo central committee member John Elago was dragged to court on a charge of fraud. While the applicant in the matter has accused Elago of trying to defraud her in relation to money he received for a property in Groot Aub, it is worth noting that Elago, in fact, is facing a civil case in this regard. He has not yet filed his answering affidavits in court to state his side of the story. - Editor
