#JustIn: De Klerk’s extradition hearing in October
The extradition hearing of Marén de Klerk will resume on 4 October in the Paarl Magistrate's Court, the South African National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has confirmed.
De Klerk was earlier this year granted bail with strict conditions by Senior Magistrate Morajee Naik in this court.
He is wanted in Namibia in connection with the notorious Fishrot saga, which was supposed to begin his trial on 2 October.
However, this date has recently been postponed indefinitely for various reasons.
