JUST IN: New High Court judges sworn in
Two judges were sworn in this morning at the Windhoek High Court.
Beatrix de Jager was appointed as a judge of the High Court and George Coleman as acting judge for the period 1 July to 9 December.
De Jager and Coleman were sworn in by Judge President Petrus Damaseb after the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) announced on Friday that they had been appointed by President Nangolo Mbumba.
The other judges who attended the ceremony were judges Hannelie Prinsloo, Herman Oosthuizen, Claudia Claasen, Esi Schimming-Chase and Kobus Miller.
