Fitty takes the stand
News in short
Fishrot corruption accused Tamson 'Fitty' Hatuikulipi took to the witness stand yesterday morning in the High Court in Windhoek to give evidence in his latest bail application, which is reportedly based on new facts.
While delivering his testimony, he argued that his time spent in custody has severely affected his finances. He explained that since his arrest in 2019, his funds have been restrained, leading to an accumulation of municipal debt amounting over N$200 000.
This debt includes municipal interest rates and taxes for his three Windhoek residential and business properties, which he acquired prior to his arrest.
