Tsumeb servicing over 300 plots
News in short
In an effort to address a housing backlog of over 5 000 applications, the Tsumeb municipality is currently servicing over 300 plots. This was confirmed by mayor Mathews Hangula, who said the process commenced last year.
“We are servicing over 300 plots at Extension 9. We have already appointed the contractor to put up the electricity, roads as well as sewer and water,” Hangula said.
“The contractor for the sewer is busy with the treatment plant, hence going forward, the issue of bacteria being detected [in our water] will be a story of the past."
