JUST IN: ‘Dagga smokers’ irk Geingob
The youth's demands to have a say in decision-making processes in the country should be respected, President Hage Geingob said.
However, if they want to assume positions of power, they "cannot be an alcoholic", the head of state said.
"Smoking dagga [marijuana] and you are even drunk and beating up women," he said of the youth.
He made the remarks during a '60 Minutes with Hage Geingob' talk at Sciences Po, a research university in the social sciences in Paris, France, this week.
