Talks of Reality to host gala dinner
News in short
On 27 October, non-profit organisation Talks of Reality Namibia will be hosting a gala dinner to celebrate its accomplishments, showcase the impact of its programmes and gather support from "like-minded organisations and individuals".
The organisation aims to “inspire individuals to become people who uphold moral decency and cultivate mental hygiene”.
This, it said, “translates to building a tribe of leaders aware of what is right”.
"We will be hosting our international members from Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon as well. The organisation, being mainly headed by students, is currently faced with financial challenges due to a lack of donors. Challenges include limited capital for the operational cost of hosting educational workshops and projects," the group said.
Tickets will be sold at N$200 and the gala dinner be hosted at Xwama Restaurant in Windhoek.
The group hopes to host close to 150 people.
