JUST IN: Learners lend a helping hand

Augetto Graig
Grade 11 pupils from the Deutsche Höhere Privatschule (DHPS) in the capital are at Avis dam today where they are removing invasive plants. The day was planned by their teachers as an action to help protect the natural beauty and the environment. About 50 pupils and five teachers, led by Gunhild Voigts of the Cactus Clean-up Initiative, join her Cacti Fighters to tackle the issue today. Photo Tanja Bause
