NUST Eenhana campus celebrates generous financial boost
The Namibia University of Science and Technology’s (NUST) Eenhana campus received a N$100 000 financial boost on Thursday through the institution’s foundation, which provides financial assistance, resources and scholarships for students in need.
The campus library also benefitted from valuable donations, including books worth N$70 000, donated by the Nandi-Ndaitwah Family Trust.
Meanwhile, the Namibia Scientific Society’s Kuiseb Publishers donated over 60 books, and Reconnaissance Energy Africa Ltd provided reading material developed from an energy conference held earlier this year.
NUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Erold Naomab expressed gratitude to the donors, saying their generosity speaks volumes about their commitment to education and the future of young Namibians.
In remarks read on her behalf, Vice-President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah commended NUST for its dedication to providing accessible and quality education throughout Namibia.
