OATF kicks off on Friday

This year marks the 23rd edition of the Ongwediva Annual Trade Fair (OATF), which is set to provide unique business networking opportunities for all participants. The trade fair kicks off on Friday until 31 August under the theme ‘Bridging Tradition and Innovation.’Lonia Nghuulikwa of the OATF&#039;s preparatory committee’s marketing and publicity subcommittee, said this year’s event promises to showcase a blend of cultural heritage and modern advancements, offering a unique experience for both local and international visitors.A total of 457 exhibitors are expected this year, including 17 international participants from countries such as Tanzania, Ghana, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Japan, South Africa and Indonesia, who will showcase their products and services.Not to be missedNghuulikwa noted that the OATF continues to offer unique business networking opportunities across various economic sectors. She highlighted that the event serves as an important platform for entrepreneurs to showcase their distinctive products and services.The OATF will be officially opened by Vice-President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah on Saturday.Ongwediva mayor Taarah Shalyefu has invited all Namibians and members of the international community to attend.
