Woman gang-raped at Ondangwa

A 46-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by three men on Friday at Ondiimwenena village in the Oshana Region while on her way home from a cuca shop.
The suspects - aged 21, 23 and 37 respectively - have all been arrested and are due to appear in the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court this week.
According to the police report, the victim was walking home at around 23:30 when the suspects grabbed and undressed her, and then proceeded to rape her one after the other.
In an unrelated incident, a 31-year-old man was arrested last Friday for allegedly stealing six goats and killing one to sell at Omutomboli cattle post in the Omuntele area.
The goats are valued at N$8 400. The suspect allegedly drove them from the grazing area to Okwandja village, slaughtered one male goat and was found selling fresh meat at local cuca shop.
The stolen livestock – including the slaughtered goat’s carcass – was recovered.
The man will appear in the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court this week.
