Walvis Bay: Police seek assistance in finding missing person

According to the missing man's mother, he sent her a message saying he was going out with some friends, but did not return home that night.
The Namibian Police have issued an appeal to the public for assistance in locating Sheehama Matheus (24), who was last seen on Saturday, 27 July, in Walvis Bay.
A student at the University of Namibia (Unam) in Windhoek, Matheus reportedly went missing from his girlfriend's house. According to his mother, he was not at home when she returned from work that day.
She added that she received a text message from him indicating that he had gone out with some friends, but he did not return home that night.
On Sunday, 28 July, his mother attempted to contact him via his cellphone. A woman who identified herself as Jessica answered the call.
Matheus has a brown complexion and pierced ears. He speaks English, Afrikaans and Oshiwambo.
The police are urging anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact Detective Deputy Commissioner Erastus Iikuyu at 081 246 4757, Detective Warrant Officer Dennis Skrywer at 081 443 3377, the Kuisebmond police station at 064 219 070, or any nearby police station.
