SHORT: Pastor wanted for rape on the run

A pastor of a revival church allegedly raped a 13-year-old girl on Wednesday last week at Onandjandja village in Omusati Region's Tsandi Constituency. "It is alleged that the suspect... went to the victim's residence, stood in the mahangu field and called the victim outside. They walked together to the neighbouring fence yard, instructed the victim to undress herself and allegedly had sexual intercourse with her," police said in a report, adding that the suspect is known but efforts to arrest him proved futile so far because he cannot be found. - STAFF REPORTER
