News in short
A 32-year-old security guard had to be rushed to a clinic in Witvlei after he sustained serious injuries during a break-in over the weekend.

The suspects then pulled him into an office and started demanding the key to the safe.
In an attempt to defend himself, the guard fought back, but was stabbed in both knees with a knife and sustained serious injuries, police said.
The suspects fled with one laptop, a smartphone, two 20-kilogram bags of maize meal and two packs of canned fish.
The victim was rushed to the clinic and transferred to the Gobabis State Hospital where he was admitted. His condition is stable. No arrests have been made.
