Pensioner rapes 10-year-old girl

A 70-year-old man was arrested in the Omusati Region for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl.

Omusati police regional commander, Commissioner Ismael Basson, said the alleged rape happened on Wednesday at around 20:00 at Ohakuyela village in the Okalongo constituency.

He added that the suspect has been arrested and is expected to appear in the Oshakati Magistrate's Court this week.
