Man rapes, impregnates teen daughter
A 44-year-old man from the Omusati Region has been arrested for allegedly raping and impregnating his 14-year-old daughter.
The incident reportedly happened between January and June at Oshikushashipya village in the Etayi constituency.
However, according to Omusati crime investigation coordinator Deputy Commissioner Moses Simaho, the alleged rape was only reported to the police on Tuesday by the victim's mother.
"It is alleged that the suspect, who is the victim's biological father, raped the victim and impregnated her," he said.
Simaho added that although the suspect has already been arrested, he is yet to be formally charged and will appear in court this week.
