Man assaults, kills baby mama

A 34-year-old woman died on arrival at Rundu State Hospital on Sunday after being assaulted by her boyfriend.

The 36-year-old suspect repeatedly kicked Elizabeth Nerumbu Kalilo – who was also the mother of his six-day-old baby - in the stomach. He was arrested and the investigation continues.

The incident took place at the Sigone settlement in the Kavango West Region.
