Man arrested for housebreaking at Nkurenkuru

A 20-year-old man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a house at Nkurenkuru last Friday.

Namibian Police spokesperson Deputy Commissioner Kauna Shikwambi confirmed the incident, which took place in the Maporesa settlement.

According to her, the suspect used an unknown object to break into a house and stole a Huawei cellphone, a wooden table, a five-kilogram bag of rice, a five-kilogram bag of mahangu, a two-litre bottle of cooking oil, Nivea roll-on, bars of soap and lotion,” she said, adding that all items were recovered.
