#JustIn: Woman struck down by lightning in Kavango West

A 20-year-old woman, with a one-week-old-baby, died from a lightning strike on Friday afternoon at the Bunya village in the Kavango West Region.

According to the police, it is alleged that Ndjamba Sara Nerumbu was stuck by lightning which killed her instantly.

The police said that she was apparently walking home from a water point with her sister while they were carrying buckets of water on their heads when it happened.
